Maxima and wxMaxima in Windows 7

I am forced to use Windows every now and then, but I have recently found out that some of my favorite software works for Windows and is relatively easy to install.  Maxima is very easy, as you just download and run the Windows installer from here:

Installing Maxima for Windows also installs wxMaxima (and Xmaxima if wanted) and gnuplot.  Here is a screenshot.

  1. How do you get multiple line input in an input cell, do you know? I notice your graphic has none. In linux, you just hit return, but in Windows it seems to ignore return and force everything onto one long line. AWFUL

  2. I will love you forever if you tell me why the draw3d function won't work in Windows 7 for me on wxMaxima.
